FORMATION
OF THE AUXILIARY MILITARY PIONEER CORPS
GEORGE R.I.
WHEREAS WE deem it expedient
to authorise the formation of a corps to be entitled the Auxiliary
Military Pioneer Corps.
OUR WILL AND PLEASURE
is that the Auxiliary Military Pioneer Corps shall be deemed
to be a Corps for the purpose of the Army Act, the Reserve
Forces Act, 1882, and the Territorial and Reserve Forces Act
1907.
Our FURTHER WILL AND
PLEASURE is that the schedule to the Warrant of His late Majesty
King George V dated 27th February 1926, shall be amended as
shown in Part I of the Schedule attached to his Our Warrant.
LASTLY OUR WILL AND PLEASURE,
is that the rates of pay of personnel of the Auxiliary Military
Pioneer Corps shall be as stated in Part II of the Schedule
attached to this our Warrant.
